In Cambodia and Vietnam, we have a total of 6 boarding houses for children facing the most horrific family circumstances (i.e. sold for trafficking, parents in jail with no family to help, orphans, extreme poverty resulting in starvation, etc.). In these homes, the children are provided with everything they need to lead successful lives (safe shelter, food, education, emotional support, life-skills training, higher education, and mostly LOVE). To date, these homes have transformed the lives of over 550 children and growing.
Over 300 of these children have gone on to graduate from college/universities or obtain certificates from vocational schools resulting in careers in culinary, hospitality, government jobs, etc. Over 100 are currently attending higher education institutions due to the generosity of donors. We are exceptionally proud of how many graduates come back to teach, train, and motivate those that are still living in these homes. They understand the concept of “paying it back” to the organization and donors that transformed their lives.
